An MoU signing ceremony was held at Sunway University Malaysia (SU) regarding joint research between Minhaj University Lahore (MUL), Pakistan, and Sunway University Malaysia. Professor Sibrandes Poppema, president of Sunway University Malaysia gave a detailed presentation about the Vision, Mission, and the future of Sunway University to the representatives of Minhaj University Lahore.
After that Professor Sajid Mehmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore, enlighten the participants about the MUL before signing the MoU. Professor Mahendhiran Sanggaran Nair, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Engagement & Impact) Sunway University Malaysia and Mr. Fiaz Ahmad (Former Student MUL and currently Ph.D Scholar at Sunway University) who served as a bridge between Sunway University Malaysia and Minhaj University Lahore for this MoU, were also present at the ceremony. Initially, the collaboration will be held in Blue Economy, Halal Certification and Islamic Economics Banking and Finance. At the end of the ceremony, VC MUL Presented a traditional Sindhi Ajrak to the President of Sunway University Malaysia.
